I was wondering...please point my to the thread if it already exists...what the opinions and thoughts are regarding the different curriculum styles at the various DO schools?
I am currently looking at ALL my options and have seen that some schools have 2-4 curricular pathways that you choose from for years I and II. Lecture-based learning vs. patient/problem/case-based learning, etc.
Obviously, personal preference plays into it to some degree regarding whether an individual likes more independent study/small group-learning. Are there any benefits or disadvantages to students, and schools for that matter, who aren't doing the stand lecture-based learning?
Thanks for any input.
