yes, i shadowed, but i was wondering if using the word shadowing in my ps has a negative connotation because i technically wasn't doing anything to "help others". i tried using "observing', but that word sounds like i was making a professional evaluation of the doctor i shadowed. is there a nicer way to put it, or is "shadowing" okay?

😕 no i think shadowing is the generally accepted term, regardless of helping people or not. "followed such and such around"? ha, dunno, i dont see why the beef with shadowing

if you were shadowing the doctor, just say so. Tons of people do it, adcoms usually encourage it, and it would be stupid to embellish it too much.
