I am seeking input regarding approx. percentage of patients that need to be re-dropped to fully dilate. Our number/% of difficult to dilate patients seem to be increasing; pathology, dark pigmentation, and s/p trauma account for the problems - but the percentage seems to be increasing. We have not changed gtts or technique.

Thanks for your input.

Why does this matter?

Make them sit there with their eyes closed for as long as they can take it, especially the brown iris
