Difficult to write withdrawal letters.

I am trying to write withdrawal letters, but it's more difficult than I'd thought. I get a bit nervous. Just a couple months ago, I didn't know if I'd be getting in anywhere.

Anybody else experience this?

They don't care what you write. Just be polite, and concise.

You can send them e-mail, too. Just give like 2 sentances. I'm sure they don't mind.

Dear Potential Medical School,

It is with deep regret that I write this letter. After careful consideration, I will not be able to attend your school. There are just too many qualified medical schools this season. Please don't be discouraged by this, I believe that another medical student will fill my vacant spot. I wish you the best in all of your future endeavors.

Another thing I learned is to withdraw by emails.

I wrote a withdrawal letter for this school who offered me interview like almost 2 months ago. Then someone from the school called yesterday early morning (It's an East Coast school) to ask me why I haven't responded to the interview offer.

Either the letter got lost or the admission office is just unorganized. Either way, they said an email withdrawal will be better.

It's best to call and ask the school. Some prefer an actual letter because they want your signature
