i was scoring low 30s consistently on my practice tests (V - 8/9, PS - 10-12, BS - 10-11). but now i fear that i might have bombed it. actually, more like i'm really ambivalent about how i did. i have no idea. the curve is so much tougher on this shorter version. on the paper version, you could get 20 wrong and still score a 10. on this version, over 10 wrong brings you at a 9 according to the aamc scale. is this same scale gonna hold on the real test? i thought the test was considerably harder than my practice tests.

anxious. anxious. anxious.

I wish you all good luck with your scores, and I'm sorry to hear about some of the glitches. If it's any consolation though - I thought I did horrible on the MCAT, and it turned out good. It's easy to second guess yourself.

PS- Ack. Not expecting a great score (or even double digits 🙁 ) unless I happened to be super good at intuitively answering the passage questions.

VR- Wasn't too bad I thought...except for dumb passage & question mix-up. Most, if not all, of the passages were interesting to me, so I didn't fall asleep trying to go through them.

Writing Sample- Eh? I didn't finish the last paragraph on my second sample, but I hope that won't count off, much.

BS- I thought it was verrrrry straightforward, so I better get a great score here!

Definitely agree with a lot of you. I was really sorry to hear so many people had that glitch with their verbal- I would have totally lost it in the middle of the test.
I thought the VR passages were longer than I had on all my practice tests, which was not good for my timing- finished everything, but had no time to go back and check and I definitely needed to.
I agree that the bio required more sometimes random outside info, but I hope the lack of orgo helped there (I didn't concentrate on it when I studied).

Overall I thought it was harder than the practice tests so I'm worried about my score because I was getting the scores I wanted on them. Oh well... I hope everyone did well and relaxes for the next month 🙂 !!

Yes, they give you a headphones to block out the noise...

Yeah, they give you headphones alright- ones that magnify any existing noise in the room! It's like having on a pair of conch shells echoing the sound of waves in your ears as you take the test 🙄

for me the "headphones" were fine. they blocked out the typing. Even my tapping on the keyboard. They are similar to those that the lawn guys wear when using the leaf blower.
