I've been studying cards pharm and I'm finding conflicting data.
Class notes say digoxin decreases sympathetic activity leading to decreased arterial and venous pressure. Other sources say the decreased HR acts to increase BP via the baroreceptor reflex.
Seems like there would be increased BP as a result of the decreased HR. Also, I'm assuming the HR decrease is due to increased intracellular Ca affecting Ca influx based on the gradient?
