I'm equally interested in two medicine sub-specialties (both are in top 4 in terms of competitiveness) and I would be happy matching into either one. I have done fair amount of research in both fields. However, I'm afraid that if I include all my research experiences and publications (in both fields) in the ERAS application and submit it to both specialty programs then each specialty program may think that I'm not truly interested in that specialty and using that specialty as a back up. Will I be running the risk of decreasing my chances of matching at either specialty if on the application I show that I have interest in both (ie. by including various research experiences/publications in both fields)? Am I better off sticking to one specialty and not including my research in the other specialty on the application?
