So I've been involved in research for 2 years while in college, but there's one aspect of research I didnt make apparent on my primaries:

In high school, I completed my first independent project. I placed 2nd at my regional science fair, and advanced to an international science fair competition. I also got to meet with and received an award from my state's governor for my efforts.

Do you think this would be worth mentioning in any of my secondaries where I can talk about accomplishments or additional information that's asked of me? Or would it not carry much weight, since it all happened in hs?

I wouldn't mention high school activities unless the question asks about your motivations/past. You could have used that in your personal statement. JMO.

Alright. I thought about putting it in my PS, but it didn't fit in with my theme very well.

I suppose I'll just leave it out, since I there are experiences I've had in college that I can also talk about.

Thanks!
