Dilemma of LA or houston

Now facing the choice of relocating to LA from houston or not.

LA, bigger city, olympic game, mild weather; but state tax, higher price of everything.

Houston, many chances of relief shift, no state tax, lower price of everything; but hot weather, smaller city.

Any advices?

I think it’s really just something you’ll have to decide. They’re both big cities so overall amenities should be equal. Not sure what Olympic Games means or has to do with it?

I’d pick lower cost of living location personally.
