Hello all,
I have a dilemma in whether I should commute 100 miles to attend classes at a university or take the classes at a CC?
My background in brief
B.S in Electrical Engineering with minor in Mathematics (graduated Cum Laude w/ 3.69 gpa)
M.S. in EE (3.7 GPA)
In terms of pre-reqs, I need to complete a biology and ochem course sequence.

100 miles each way gets old real quick. I would take the classes at CC and save yourself a lot of time and headache. It's only 2 classes. No one is going to care.

+1

You have an EE masters degree and greater than a 3.5. I think you are good to take a couple of pre-med classes at a CC.

Wow, I commuted about 90 minutes round trip to a CC for my first few pre-reqs. That got old after a few weeks. I couldn't imagine going even farther. With a solid undergrad GPA, I wouldn't sweat a couple of community college courses.
