DIME FAST, some quick advice for last second decision, ANYONE!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Why can't you apply to both and then make up your mind after you go to an interview at each school? Both are good schools and I personally applied to Case.

I would choose temple I believe (although I haven't interviewed at either). Temple is a bit cheaper and produces quality clinicians. It isn't in as bad of a neighborhood as people say (being that you're from LA you understand the dangers of living in any big city). Anyway, just my 2 cents.

There is a debate at Case tonight, does that help?

i applied to case, but i don't know anything about temple. case has a nice school and campus, but the surrounding city is very ghetto. case is also really expensive. the people there seem really nice, everyone has their own personal cubicle, and when i interviewed the staff member i talked to said that they are really big about letting student input direct changes in their curriculum. for example some students said they needed better practice management classes, so they added 3 new classes. don't know anything about temple though, sorry.

thanks y'all, you gave me a scare there for a moment :scared: phew!! 🙄 ummm, i'm thinking that Case might be more leniant to students from a nasty scholastic background, but i might be wrong. let me know, i've got until tomorrow (how do you spell it??) morning, but i can just choose one of them b/c that's the way the ball rolls. and i'm not giving up unlv, so thats the case (no pun intended).

My friend applied to Case with a 19 AA and a 2.95 Sci GPA and 3.0 Over all and got straight up rejected (after the "secondary", I mean application fee...) so I don't know that they really are that lenient to students from nasty scholastic backgrounds. My friend has over 60 hours observing, tons of service experience etc...

case or temple, i interviewed at case and the school itself is awesome, but a lot of money to attend. I can vouch for biogirl, we were there. But from checking out SDN i think Case's interview invites have stopped. I think they have reached the 350 students they intend on interviewing, and that is why many applicants with good stats are getting rejected and placed on alternate list. As for Temple i dont know much about the school.
