Direct Deposit Change HELP!!!

I'm an HPSP student. I'm trying to change my direct deposit to USAA. On the Direct Deposit Sign-Up Form (1199A), what am I supposed to put for:

C: Claim or Payroll ID Number
F: Type of Payment

I have found no such "Claim or Payroll ID Number" on any of my documents or pay stubs.

Aside: I'm also planning to start a USAA "Target Retirement 2040 Mutual Fund" Roth IRA (unless some investing-savvy commenter tells me there is something obviously better).

Have you tried calling USAA? As I'm sure you know, they're extraordinarily friendly, and I'd be willing to bet they have more experience with this issue than almost everyone on this message board.

ya i talked to them earlier today. they didn't know what to put for those either.

Just go to PSD/admin support and give them your bank name, account and routing numbers. They will do the rest.
