Is there a thread on here where people volunteer to read disadvantage statements? I found the personal statement thread, but not the disadvantage thread, if there is one. I have written mine, but am still unsure if I've missed the mark. Per other threads, I gather that the medical school disadvantage statement should focus on what disadvantages prior to age 18 led to one's being behind college peers when they arrived at college, and how that disadvantage manifested itself during college.
