Disadvantages...please give advice!!!

Is it helpful or hurtful to apply in the disadvantaged category? I grew up in a medically underserved area, which considers me medically disadvantaged, but I do not want to put it if it may harm me.

Don't know how much it will help with admissions, but it won't hurt you. The reason they ask is because some schools have programs that recruit disadvantged (URMs, low SES etc) applicants.
