Discontinuing IV/O2/monitor on CCS

Do we lose points on the CCS if we don't d/c all the routine stuff before discharge? I keep seeing that as a step on UWorld. Dumb question, I know.
 
If you get chance to discharge than yes, you have to discontinue those things. Otherwise for most of the cases, 2 minute screen appears, in which you should not discontinue them as patient is still in ward or ICU. If patient has improved you can cancel NPO and change to Regular diet or diabetic diet etc. You can cancel IV antibiotics and change to oral depending upon C&S results.
