Discrepancy in FA and QBANK?

My copy of FA says NE reduces REM sleep and right below that it says "Acetylcholine is the principal NT involved in REM sleep." I would guess that would mean it induces it, but it doesn't really pinpoint it. I have the 2003 edition-

yeah, i, being a classic dodo, read "reduces" as "induces" and got all confused.

Bottom line, ACh induces REM sleep, NE reduces REM sleep.

No you're not, you're just trying to fit useless information into your head at a ridiculous rate! Man will I be glad when this is over!
