I took discrete math (because i use to be a CS major). However i made a B in it and was planning on listing it as a CS course so it wouldnt count towards my science gpa. Is that too much of a stretch ie possible to not to count towards science GPA

Thanks

PS. for yall that dont know ..discrete is a math course that is mainly for eng and cs majors ( algorithms..tree..proofs)

Pratik,

Nope, that's exactly what I did. Was it listed in the CS department? If so, I would list it as CS, because I'm sure (unless this was a different class for you) you learned discrete math with an eye towards CS algorithmic analysis (i.e. like Big-oh notation, etc.).

So, do that, and if AMCAS or the school disagrees, they will change it for you, but you won't get in trouble, because your decision to place it in CS is reasonable.
