Dismissal Question?

Unique problem, my med school has a limit on how long until basic science I have to pass step 1. I have been having personal issues this past year (health and family) or so and need at least 2 more months. The school has said they will dismiss me no matter what (doesn't matter about the personal issues) this month if I don't take the exam. My permit for the exam is until January which is when I want to take it...so can I take step 1 even after I get dismissed because the permit is still valid or will it not allow me to take step 1?
And if I take step 1 and pass, can I apply anywhere as a third year? I just need a opportunity to pass step 1
P.S. I went to a Caribbean medschool...

I don't know that this is the right forum to ask this question in.

As far as I know, no US medical school accepts transfer students.

If you're dismissed, then it's pretty much game over. No US program is going to take you, and, if they do, then you're going to have to start over entirely.

Couldn't I apply to another Caribbean school?

Hmm...I just did a tiny bit of looking and it seems as though it may be possible to transfer into third year.
