I have been looking into taking O-chem through University of New England in a distance education format. It is supposed to fulfill the pre-med requirement and this might be a good option for me. Has anyone taken this course or know if it really fulfills the requirement for O-chem?

Thank You

the labs are a special simulation via online...at least that is what the web site says

But there's nothing comparable to going in and doing an actual lab yourself with real chemicals and spilling the carcinogenic methylene chloride directly on your hands repeatedly while extracting chlorophyl when you're supposed to be extracting caffeine.

i think it is a good idea ,org is not FUN at all..beside it will save a lot of time
but did you call AACOMAS to make sure of that ? lab here is seperate ,so i can take lab later on
i worry about lecture for now

It obviously fills the requirement for UNECOM, but I would check with the other schools. The fact that the lab is also online makes me question whether or not other schools will accept it. 😀 :luck:
