Would anyone who has used DIT as a "first pass" as a way of forcing you through FA in an organized fashion please give your thoughts on whether there is a way to use it that way effectively?

It's not my FIRST pass, exactly - I used FA during a lot of M1 and M2, so I've covered at least 50-75% of it. But that was before I did a few rotations. So it's not super fresh.

I purchased DIT for the structured run-through, and I know that is what it is.

I have 6 weeks for preparation, and am either going to do:
2 wks of Pathoma and self FA review, 3 weeks DIT, 1 week Re-review. (UWorld all along of course, starting by topics and working up to doing random)
or
Start with DIT, using it and the workbook as an outline structure, reading deeper on topics, and fully annotate FA from everything (with UWorld Qs by topic), then 2 weeks of re-review.

I'm just trying to figure out how to get a good "first pass" of FA in there before DIT, so I'm wondering if I should go ahead and just start with DIT?

I've read the threads on how people have used it at the end... but I wanted to solicit some thoughts on how it could be used successfully as a first pass, from those who used it that way.

Thx ^_^

I used DIT as my "first pass" and it worked well for me. 8 lectures a day with a set of UWorld questions was a lot, but it helped to have a solid goal. I needed the structure and a good "complete" run through to start out. After that I had about 3 weeks to finish up UWorld and went through FA again thoroughly (easier because I had already taken **** tons of notes during DIT) twice? (it's been a long few rotations so I forgot exactly). It's probably not the most time efficient way of re-learning, but it was to have someone walk me through FA and make me pay attention to the important points. Hope this helps.
