Anyone have any first hand experience with this?

My gut feeling is that it is a total waste of money, but then again if they do a great job it would be nice to have it all laid out for you.

I have used it and I will just say that it really was not worth the time or money - it's only beneficial if you have a really strong foundation in place. Despite what the course claims, the lecturers really primarily read from FA verbatim with little extra explanation. There are a handful of good new mnemonics thrown in here and there, but it's certainly NOT worth the cost of the course...

Thanks for the reply,

I was actually asking specifically about there customized study schedule sessions that they offer.

I've already purchased the course, and for the sake of my pride I hope your wrong, but I've been hearing a lot of the same. Oh well, I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Hi OP

I used the DIT program (I'm not sure about "customized study schedule sessions" - I just went along with the 15-day schedule they have laid out) and I thought it wasn't that special, but it was really nice to have when I was finally finished with 2nd year and needed to get studying for the real thing. I had no idea where to start and DIT kind of gave me that structure I really needed. I think I didn't even finish it (got to the 13th day out of 15) and just started doing things on my own. It helped me to get through basically all of First Aid, which was great, because it focused my attention to the things I needed to review. DIT videos are NOT anything like Kaplan. Kaplan is its own course intended to try to teach you the materials. DIT assumes you know it already, but gives you a guide to help you get through the most important stuff. So, from my perspective, use it as a way to give you some guidance and structure in your studying 🙂

DiT is an amazing program provided you have read through FA at least once. I did and I did see the >20 point increase that Dr. Jenkins promises. My last NBME before DiT was 228 and I got a 251 on the real deal. His method is basic but IT WORKS! It's the best $700 I have spent.

IMHO, DIT is basically an 800+ dollar study schedule that happens to have some included videos. Naturally your score is going to go up if you get through all of FA. Sorry this for the slightly OT rant. I doubt their personalized plans are worth it if they're anything like their main program.

i am thinking of dit . can dit be completed in 10 days or it will become too stressful .

You aren't going to want to do it in 10 days. If you're anything like me, you're not going to want to just sit there and have information talked at you for that long. Imho, stick to the schedule or spread it out even more.
