Written below are summaries I have made for divergent, parallel, and convergent evolution. Are these correct?

divergent evolution – aka as adaptive radiation, this is the evolution of dissimilar characterics in once related species (similar ancestry) due to different enviromental stresses.
* example: the emergence of 13 different types of finch birds that Darwin saw on one island

parallel evolution – the evolution of similar characterics in once related species (similar ancestry) due to similar enviromental stresses.
* example: a placental wolf and a pouched wolf both developed parallel due to similar similar enviroment stresses

convergent evolution – the evolution of similar characteristics in unrelated species due to similar environmental stresses
* example: the thorns on a rose and the spines on a cactus

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
