What schools are known to have a more diverse student body? Specially, how do Temple and Tulane do in this aspect?
 
Our school is very diverse compared to places like Harvard. We actually have conservatives in our class. (Many, many, conservatives.)

Oh, wait, you were talking about race. Sorry.

As Panda pointed out, that would greatly depend on your definition of diversity.
 
Something I inititally didn't like about my school (NYMC) when I accepted their offer : very little diversity in the student body. Other schools that had accepted me fared much better in this aspect. However, one thing that I loved about NYMC was that the patients I would interact with 3rd and 4th year were going to be extremely diverse, in race, socioeconomic status, morals, etc etc. So I recommend that you really figure out what exactly it is about diversity that you enjoy. For me it is interacting with different kinds of people, and hearing about their lives, which I will get to do with patients. I don't really talk to many of my classmates...

UIC is very diverse.

Oh. That's what you mean. Sure. We have plenty of bums, crack ******, lunatics, and all kinds of human debris with which to interact. One can not help but enjoy the sheer freakishness of our patient population.

You should come down here. We've got it all plus poor white trash which I don't believe you will see in New York City.
 
Hey. Diversity sucks. I propose we all try for a little more conformity. Bathing and wiping asses before coming to the clinic would be a good start.

NYMC has affiliate hospitals in NYC and also in rural new york/connecticut, which believe me, has the poor white trash.
