Uh, don't know where you heard this dumb rumor but yes, we do our own disections. Though sometimes I think it would be nice to have it all prosected for you but what can you do. I don't know of any medical school where you don't do your own disections.

That would have been nice. Since, the gunners always wanted to cut on something and soon nothing was recognizable so Netter was the best way to study to pass the test.
I think you are confusing "simulation" with "prosection". In a prosection, everything is all nice and cut already for you. All you have to do is put gloves on and learn the brachial plexus, palmer interossi, abductor hallucis, etc.
A lot of times there are those people in class who whine and complain that we should have prosections. Personally I think they are scaredy cats. BE a MAN and do it the old fashion way - APPRECIATE and Destroy!

You guy's have cadavers!?!? Wow, we had to use horses at NSU. Guess it would have been good to see what it actually looks like, but sure made disection easier since all we had were shovels. HAHAHAHA
