DMU Interview Plans

I'm trying to plan my interview trip to DMU. Are there any good hotels nearby that people who have interviewed recommend? Should I plan on renting a car or do any hotels have shuttles to the school?

DSM (Des Moines International Airport). He's right- the Heartland Inn was very inexpensive, 5 min. from the airport, & the shuttle to & from the airport & the med school was free!!!! They even have a special discount for students interviewing at DMU. The people there were really nice- then again all the people I got to meet in Iowa were nice as well. i'll be there on the 19th too... how do you line up something so you can stay with a student?

When I interviewed there, I stayed with a second year. If you can, you should stay with a student. My host gave me a lot of insight about the school. It saved me a lot of money too. Good luck on the interview.

Eh, I don't mind changing diapers. I've got a young daughter myself. 😀
