DMU Interview

I know there were several threads regarding DMU interview and my bad if this is a repeat but I was wondering if anyone stayed at a hotel? 😕 I got the list of hotels from the website DMU provided and called around for prices but if anyone has suggestions to which hotel is better or to avoid I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you~!!! 😛

I stayed at the Heartland Inn, they offer a free shuttle ride to and from the airport and also a ride to DMU and back at whatever time you request. Also if you mention your interviewing at DMU you get a discount.

I'm cheap, I went to priceline, named my own price and went with the lowest amount of money I could pay for a hotel. I don't remember the name now, but it was in West Des Moines and it was an extended stay. I paid like thirty bucks a night.

I stayed at the Renaissance Savery...it was nice. The room service was pretty good too.

The Heartland inn was the best deal IMO. Nothing fancy but free shuttles to where you need to go, so no extra taxi costs. It's a good deal and you don't have to trust William Shatner to get you a great price.

I would trust William Shatner with my life. Haha, I guess I'm lucky - if i make it as far as an interview at DMU in a few years its only about 1 hour from my school so no hotel needed!
