Can anyone supply insight in to the DMU interview day? I looked at the website but would like some info from some interviewee's? What was the interview like, school, etc, whatever you would like to supply.

Thanks!

Get there
offered juice/water and breakfast bar
given a packet of the days information
take your picture
learn about the school from admissions and the dean
go to the clinic, get interviewed or wait to be interviewed while shadowing current students
eat lunch
go on tour

I am pretty sure the last three are not exactly in the right order.... you might eat lunch in the middle of your tour? I seem to remember meeting my tour guides before lunch, but I can't really remember that well.

Interview (for me) was with two faculty/professors. Mine took like 10 minutes, but others took a little longer. But plan between 10-30 minutes.

I haven't looked at the "Interview Questions" section of this website, but I would recommend giving it a gander. DMU does a 3 person panel interview. I recall it being open file. Of the 3 schools I interviewed at, it was the only interview that felt like an actual interview.

I had the interview recently, and there is lunch between the tour 🙂
And prepare to be amazed by the facilities. I'm still having trouble deciding between this school, recently accepted, and CSPM.

From what I remember Maxillos schedule was the same as my interview day, however my interview was with 1 faculty member and 1 student.

Thanks very helpful. I replied for the match 29th day so hopefully I get it.

My interview was pretty laid back, but I heard from a current student that her interview was loaded with tought behavioral questions. They really looked at your transcript, personal statement and LORs. Make sure you are familiar with what you put ont the application. Other than that, their interview packet was really nice. Great lunch buffet and an awesome anatomy lab (no smells!)

Ooooo but I like the smells. Smells of success haha

I'll be interviewing on the 29th too!

Yesss. Where are you from? Are you flying or driving? Have you picked a hotel?
