Just wondering about the exams at DMU - is there one every week or is it a block exam system where you have all your exams during that one week? Is there a good note-taking service at DMU? Also, what's a typical schedule like? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Exams are course dependent, not a block system, nor strictly once a week. Sometimes we do end up having one exam a week, sometimes there will be 2 weeks with no exams, sometimes 2 exams a week. It all varies.

Typical day is 8am-12pm lectures...OMM lectures are 1-2:30 on Mondays. Usually an OMM lab per week in the afternoon, anatomy labs are in the afternoon. PD labs also in the afternoon. Ethics class average once every 2-3 weeks in the afternoon. Moral of this story: don't get caught without your schedule! It's different every day.

Regarding the note-taking service, check out the DMU 2008 thread, there's some good stuff in there.
