For the following question:

This comment section may list additional information or an explanation about a certain section in this application. This comment section is not intended for a personal statement; we use the personal statement that was submitted with your AACOMAS application.

I was wondering what people who applied here may have putten. I am basically fishing for ideas. I was curious if we could use this part to explain why we wanted to go to DMU. Is it necessary to answer this or may it be skipped and people have still been admitted into DMU. Please let me know asap.

Thanks,
Dr. Inviz

You may use that section to explain why you want to DMU. I used that section to explain parts of my AACOMAS that may not have been clear. I know that some people explained the reason for a lower MCAT or GPA and this would be the section for just that.

I have smile at your use of "putten."

Best of luck.

 wow, i didnt realise that snuck itself in there. i dont think ive ever said "putten" before, looks like the southern accent is finally coming out

Left this part completely blank. I would say that you should only write something if you need to explain some extenuating circumstance.

I agree with Boner. When I am reading through applications prior to interviewing students I can tell you that it has NEVER made someone's application. However, this section really HAS turned me off to several applicants b/c it often comes off as pleading.

I say leave it blank unless you absolutely know there is something that may be confusing on your app & need to clarify.

I definitely appreciate the advice, much better hearing from someone who goes through the applicant files and interviewees. 😀
