We just bought new furniture for the livingroom, dining room and bedroom from a local chain(detroit) called Gardner-White...we got a really good deal, plus we got 0% financing for 3 years....

Suck it Trebek.

The site which was listed on here before is total comedy. go to this link and realize that the guy with a "pedosmile" looks a lot like a person who used to teach at our school: http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=spot_the_pedo

I am really mad at the NBOME right now because i took the PE on Feb 12th and still have not heard whether or not i passed.

If you are talking about the former man of OMT, check out his new job.....He is down at NOVA and apparently got teacher of the year.

PE RESULTS ARE OUT THROUGH FEBRUARY!!! WE PASSED!!! Wooooosaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.

We're taking the nephew to a circus tonight. I just might punch a clown as my way of celebrating. I hate clowns. Well...actually...I don't hate them as much as they scare me. Maybe I shouldn't have watched Stephen King's "It" when I was a wee child.......hmmm....and then there was that dream I had with cannabalistic clowns......when I was 4. I think I should be glad I turned out mostly normal as an adult. Wait.....er....nevermind.

Our living room furniture is microfiber. Let me say, this $hit is AWESOME! You can't stain it. We've spilled milk, chocolate milk, juice, spaghetti sauce, AND PAINT on it, among other less mentionable fluids. All the substances only required a damp cloth for cleanup. Plus they feel really comfy.

Congrats you PE passers! Creamy, your schedule sounds CRAZY! Too bad you couldn't have FP somewhere in the middle.

Our sofa set will be the kind where the seats on the ends recline...they're sooo comfortable and have a great warranty on everything. I can't wait to nap on them! We went with an inlaid stone look for most of the stuff, like the coffee table, dinner table, and even the bedroom set. Makes me feel like we're living in the mountains with bears outside.

So the circus was pretty fun. They had these really tired looking elephants and one of them pooped AND peed during their performance. And there was only one clown and he wasn't the scary type with the colored frizzy wig and all-white face paint and stuff. Instead of lions, they put these huge mask thingies on dogs, with manes and all, to make them look like miniature friendly lions. Very entertaining and borderline cruel.

I passed my PE too bitches.................ahhahahahahaahahaha

guess who won't be gettin' my extra $1,000........I should go buy a Vizio to celebrate.

I quit going to the circus as a little kid because I think clowns are the scariest thing in the world:scared:

I passed too! I'm glad I don't have to shell out another $1000, but I'm sad I don't get to make the fun and convient trip back to philadelphia, get stranded at the airport for 24 hrs, and be forced to spend more time with lucky, dmak, astro, and cremaster. I had high hopes we would all fail together and make the trip again as a big happy family. Oh well.

Clowns may be scary. As are mimes (wasn't that a great halloween costume?). But I would still pay a lot of money for one night with those cirque du soleil french contortionistas!

why pay when you can use ghb?

Ahem, I just got your response card....with no explanation. 🙁 At least we can make out at graduation, but the sadness is I will be marching behind DMAK instead of with you and the Cream. And we are definitely submitting a pronunciation form!!!

Congrats on passing, everybody!!! Fun times in Conshohocken though...

Because then you'd have to put all the work into contorting them yourself whereas if they are conscious, they can contort FOR you. Duh. 🙂

Who are you addressing in this? 😕

I believe that would be me. I'm so sorry! We really wanted to go, but that's the only weekend we could close on the house. I didn't want to write on the card because I thought you'd think it was a tacky backwoods Missouri thing to write on that instead of sending a proper wedding card/gift. Not to worry, you'll still get a gift. I know you just see dollar signs when you look at your guest list anyway!

Ha! That's not true...you would have in turn gotten a fabulous dinner, delicious cake/desserts, free drinks, AND...several dances with the future Mrs. DMAK...it's the gift that keeps on giving!

I forgot to click the "Quote message in reply" for my earlier post...sorry for the confusion!!

I apologize for the Mrs. and my absence as well. I bought a plane ticket and I can't afford to change it because I am strapped for cash. I can't wait until I have a pay check that I can spend and then move to Long Island where all I spend money on is rent!

Don't worry you will be getting a nice gift/card from us as well. Please let me know where and when to send it🙂 You can write it down for me at graduation since I can't remember anything anymore.

Lucky,

OK... I'm having girl problems! What to wear? I have to wait until the last minute to buy anything since I don't know if I'll pop before then. Pop as in start showing. Here are my list of girly questions for you...

1. How formal is your wedding? Long dress, short dress, summer dress?
2. Do you know anything about that dinner Friday night before grad? What are you thinking of wearing for that? Are you guys going to that?
3. Graduation itself. Are you thinking about as formal as white coat? I was thinking short black dress or similar nothing too fancy since it is a Saturday afternoon. Is D. wearing a suit jacket? We're traveling the 3 weeks before Graduation so I need to start figuring some of this "stuff" out.

OK I'm done with Girly questions. The thread can go back to normal topics like bendiness...

Sexy Gravid Trophy:

1) You can totally wear a summer dress! We went with a spring theme anyway, like the bridesmaids are wearing knee-length skirts and a strapless top. Do you think a two-piece would be easier to coordinate for you, as in have better control over the belly area? Or you can wear a baby-doll type dress to have lots of room to move in the belly bits too. You look hot in those 😉
2) We are planning on going to the banquet. I bought a bunch of shorter skirts because I needed some earlier this month, so I was planning on wearing that and a nice top. And I'm thinking business casualish for the picnic...or do you think we can get away with something like shorts and tank tops?
3) I didn't go to white coat, so I'm not sure how formal people got. I might just go with another skirt/blouse combo...as for the man, he is thinking of going in a suit, and if it gets unbearably hot (for him, that means anything >70 degrees), he'll just take off the jacket. To me, a nice girly skirt and top is right in the middle of semi and formal, so you can't go wrong.

Cremaster, we totally understand, and thanks for letting us know earlier. We'll see you at graduation!

I guess we can always wear crotch-length minis and strappy 6-inch platforms with tight tube tops. I'M A DOCTOR!!!

Have you been talking to my old lady?

Thanks Lucky! You always know how to make me feel good. 😍

Hahaha! It's finally getting hot up here in the Midwest...time to break out the hoochie gear.

I actually took a copy of the events and highlighted the events she'd be going to. Then she asked me to write in what to wear. I used "formal," "Semi-formal," "semi-slutty," and "slutty."

Ha

Bernard I had to do the same for your mom as my date...............you certainly hang with fine women🙂

Speaking of Portiers mom. Are we still supposed to eiffel tower her behind the academic center? I don't really want to but hey, tradition is tradition.

Um, Dartos, for you, it's more like the Sears Tower....almost twice as tall as the Eiffel....AROUND!!!!

You don't even have to ask, you know the answer!

Just so you guys know the Mrs. and I bought ourselves a beautiful French Bulldog..........he is 12 weeks old, and Dartos I now know some of your pain because he whined all night I had to let him out 3 times and then he ended up sleeping on my chest until 6:30am.

Any suggestions about how to get them to like their cage and sleep through the night............well besides what you use for your kids (valium and captain colata)

Put an old stinky T-shirt of yours that you didn't wash after wearing it in his cage...it'll be like his security blanket. And let him go in and play in the cage during the daytime so he gets comfortable with it. Sometimes, you just have to do the tough love thing and leave them in there through all the whining and stuff. Is the cage big enough that you can put newspapers in one part of it for him to pee/poop in and not have to sleep in it? That's what I did with my two dogs when they were puppies.

the damn NBOME site is "unavailale today," and the last time i checked was early friday morning. this pisses me off even more. guess i will wait until tomorrow when i'm around a computer again.

Iowa city was a F'ing blast this weekend. i'm still pathetic and hanging out with undergrad people.

What are you guys putting for that recognition thing........we could totally write people in for the awards. IE...most helpful classmate could be Air.

I have him sleeping in there now with the door open. He has slept in there twice so far today. He is paper trained, but I'm trying to get him to go outside so I have to be vigilant. It's not too bad though. He really is a good pup. The cage is medium sized, which is huge. I have a pee pads, a towel, and then a mini blanket in there for him now. Thanks for the advice Lucky!

I forgot you'll be joing us in the MI this week. Very exciting. We'll have to go to a Tigers game sometime.

You best sense of humor
Boz favorite clinical faculty

I named a few other people for best dressed.........aka the guy who wore pink shirts to class, and the blonde minnesotian who came to class like everyday was a formal dinner..............not that my vote matters at all!

We should all vote Boz as favorite clinical faculty..that'll really open their eyes...it would be hilarious.

I voted for him in both the academic and clinical faculty. I love being a rabble rouser.

hoooooah

Try feeding the dog only in his cage. That helps. Also, once or twice a day put them in there with a really enjoyable toy. You can get one of those hollow rubber dog toys that looks like a butt plug and fill it with peanut butter. Throw that in the cage with him and he won't bother you for hours! Also, don't expect too much, it's still a baby. It's good practice for when you have a screaming brat that you can't put in a cage that wakes you up 17 times a night (back me up dicky).

Don't EVER use the cage as punishment. That's just shooting yourself in the foot. That will make them really hate it. Try putting the cage by your couch or wherever you spend the most time. We had jiminy's right by my desk when we first bought him. Being in undergrad, I spent a ton of time sitting at the desk. We had a nice soft blanket in there and he would go sleep in the cage while I was studying. Most puppies want to be by you 24/7 so this usually works out good. If none of that works have lucky yell "DINNERTIME!" in mandarin. That scares the $hit out of dogs!

Hey Dmak! B-man reeled in his first bass yesterday! I took him to this little pond by the library to throw rocks in the water (this is the type of thing that interest two year olds). I noticed some little bluegills swimming around so next time I brought a rod with a tiny one inch plastic worm on it. We were casting around the egde of the pond and I set the hook on a bass about 9 inches. It was really fat for being so short (keep it out of the gutter portier). I handed him the rod and he reeled it in all by himself! Now today he's walking around saying "I go fish?" "I reel?" and running to the garage where we keep the rods.

YES!!! I hooked him early! Take that liberal media!

Sorry for butting in. These guys have a great approach for puppy help, in case you still want it.... Works for everyone I know that tries it, so I take the chance to plug it when I can... Book is called The Art of Raising a Puppy. By the Monks of New Skete, wherever the heck that is. Haven't tried the discs. Probably more of the same, though...

Portier got our vote as most likely to be AOA president not cuz we think he's an AOA freak, but because when we think "Prez", we think Portier. Damn right.

Nice going, B-man!! Has the heat wave hit MI too?

It was in the 70s low 80s yesterday and today. I don't know how hot it's been by you. Dartos put Boz too & Port for Pres. He put the pink shirt guy for best male dressed.

I went shopping today. I couldn't find anything I liked. It was either frumpy or too form fitted around the belly. I did find a nice top in the juniors dept. I think that'll work. Ha! Oh well, I have time. I'll be just a few weeks more pregos than I was at the Gala with Brady. Maybe I'll end up wearing something I have. Bellys are in right?

I'll move his cage out here today. It was by the bed so at night the neighborsdon't c/o barking!

You mean it's a bad thing to put my daughter in a cage?! We usually throw her in there with my butt plug (filled with peanut butter of course) and she sleeps like...well, a baby. I guess that takes place of her blanky. It was always my security blanket anyhow.

If bellys are in then I'm Miles Davis!

So.....

I was sequestered in the cave for days playing Godfather for the Xbox360. It was a very fun game if ultra-violent, sexist, and a bit repetitive. You get to live out "one" as a part of the family and move up the ranks. Of course I didn't follow the flow of the game right because I'm a hard headed f*7$...I was Don of NYC before I finished the low level hit contracts. And they MAKE you finish those.

In other news I drank whiskey last night. MMMMMM.

As far as the votes go I put Breithaupt as my guy....he's got the best teaching style foe me...funny, but dense with data. As oposed to slow and sparse.... I put Dartos for best sense of humor. Mostly because we spent 1st year sitting next to each other telling dick jokes. He also defended me when the Newman woman asked me if I was getting fatter. "Why yes..thank you for noticing. Is your butt getting bigger?"

Mom's: For the record you guys opened up the mom can. I'll allow one hit to pass with a warning. Remember you all love your mom more than I love mine. I can get dirty in this game without any loss, but your mom's are special to you I'm sure. (i.e. cancer survivor and magic ring buyer) That's your warning.

Queen Bee/Ms Dartos: You're finer than frog hair split three ways. No matter if you have a bun in the oven or not. If Felix dies or something I'll take you and the lot of tricycle motors into my house. You also let me take vicodin when I have kidney stones and hallucinate....and stab people with African spears.

I'm looking forward to getting paid real money in a little over a month and a half. I think I have to be on active for 15 days in order to get paid at the full rate. YEAH!
