Does anybody know if on the MCAT, for problems where we have to transcribe a sequence of DNA, if the directionality of base sequences will be explicitly given (i.e. 5'-3' vs 3'-5')? I know how to do these problems pretty well, but some questions in these Kaplan books make the direction feel ambiguous sometimes. Thanks

They'll give you the direction if it's relevant, and it's almost always given as 5'-3' rather than 3'-5'
