do ADCOMS check mcat score breakdown?l

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Of course, one looks at the subscores. Why wouldn't we? We also look at the whole package to determine if there is something that might explain a poor subscore and whether all things considered, the candidate is still someone who has a reasonable chance of doing well in medical school.

And by "poor" I mean something below 126. (I know that 125 is "average" but a 125 does raise eyebrows).

Depends on the overall score—if it’s 515+, I don’t look at the subsections. If it’s under 510, I look to see if one subsection is significantly lower than the others.

I look to see if your lowest score confirms any other information in your application... usually if you are under 510 (also).
thats me, im under 510

509,

131, 124, 130, 124

and yes i did study a lot for psych : (

Retaking probably depending on how this cycle turns out

If you pick your schools carefully (hard to say without more information...fill out a WAMC for better answers) and include both MD and DO you should be okay.
