Do ADCOMS see your email and username from AMCAS?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
They certainly see your email, not sure about username. Just use your generic school email or make a quick gmail.

If you're at a point in your life where you're applying to medical school, perhaps it's time to grow up and make yourself a more mature e-mail address.

+1. Or if you're super attached to your immature email address for some reason, make a separate kosher gmail account just for med school admissions and have your email forward to that. You'll be getting a LOT of emails over the next year.

:eyebrow:

This is stupid. Make a new, professional gmail address. Every admissions office will use your email and if you send update letters, deans and adcoms will see it as well.

It takes like 20 seconds to make a new gmail account. You'll have to do it eventually, might as well get started now.

If you're not smart enough to not have a professional e-mail at this point of your life and/or have an immature username on the AAMC website, then you probably shouldn't be applying to medical school.

Your first and last name and your DOB@whateverdotcom. That should have you covered.
