Do Admissions Offices have caller ID?

Lets say you call them from your cell phone, does your name show up on Caller ID? I've seen people on SDN calling the admissions office to know when the committee meetings occur etc. And lets say they do know thats its you calling every week asking if there's a committee meeting, is that a huge negative? Thanks for the info guys!

I'm guessing most schools have some sort of caller ID. I work at a medical school, and when you call a phone here the number shows up (but withoutaname 😉 ). But yeah, what skinMD said.

Come on. It's common sense they could have caller ID if almost everyone in the country does. Just block your call with *67 if you're that afraid.

Solution: Don't call every week.

It doesn't change anything; you'll know when you know. Do something else to put your focus elsewhere and just go with the flow.
