do all schools email you about receiving applications?

I have applied to MUSC, VCU, and UNC, and I was in the second batch. MUSC has received my secondary and AADSAS information but I never got a notice about it. I have also done all the secondaries for UNC and VCU as well. Does it just take a while after the AADSAS gets mailed out (it has been 3 days) or does every school not send out notifications? thanks!

also, am I required to send out my letter of rec packet to each individual school as well as to AADSAS? I thought AADSAS would take care of that for me but MUSC has an application progress site and it says everything is received except my recommendations.

I've been wondering the same thing. VCU, WVU, and UNC are the only schools I haven't heard from yet and I finished the VCU and UNC supplemental as well. And I was in first batch :/

well thats a bummer. I was expecting to be relieved when I sent in all of my stuff and figured I could relax now. Guess I should have known that I would be freaking out all the time regardless of what is happening. I hope emails come soon..

Has anyone got confirmation that they have received your application from ASDOH, Midwestern-Arizona, BU, Pittsburgh, Maryland...

We do our best to let you know we've received your applications, but we also check on how complete they are, whether you paid our application fee, letters, and DAT scores. It takes us quite a while to verify this and notify you, so be patient out there. Call/email if you are worried, but don't freak out yet.

I have completed everything to my knowledge and have certainly paid everything... 🙂 DAT scores have been done since march and they have been received. I guess I just need a chill pill and I should probably stop checkin student doctor/email/admissions websites for a few hours.. thanks!👍

I thought the VCU supplemental wasn't available until they contacted you first? In other words, all you can do at this point is send them the application fee.

Am I missing something? Is their supplemental application available to everybody now?

i think that is what he meant. All i have done for VCU is send in my check and a picture. I haven't gotten any notice from them about anything yet so I haven't done the actual supplemental application.

UNLV sent me an email saying my entire application was complete and was getting forwarded to the admissions committee. I was third batch and I got that email on 7/17.
