Do any programs accept 5 letter?

II know this might be a bit of a stretch, but are there any programs that would accept 5 LORs? I already uploaded 4 letters to ERAS/assigned them to derm programs, but I just recently had an excellent LOR opportunity present itself and now have a 5th letter uploaded that I think is probably better than at least one or two of the others already assigned. Unfortunately, all but about 5 derm programs have already downloaded my 4 letters, so I can't switch one out for this new one. I know for some programs 4 might be pushing it already (although I didn't see any that said no more than 3), but is tacking on a 5th possible at all? Or just idiotic?

I probably wont even read all 4 of your letters. No one ever says anything bad in a letter. I have already seen some letters from "big name" guys that were written by the chief resident and just co-signed. Wow that means alot👎

If you know your letter writer well and want to be high yield, ask them who they know. Send the letter to those people/programs.

There's no guarantee the people whom the writer knows hold positions on the applicant review committee or residency program positions, but it's better than nothing.

I wouldn't bother pan-sending it.
