Hi I was wondering if anyone knows any school that do not count repeat courses, as they do not use PharmCAS GPA. instead, they will recalculate your GPA excluding your repeats and failed. Please let me know.
Not true... Any school outside of pharmcas will use its own grading / scoring system - That may or may not include repeats. Pacific U will average all of your attempts.
Most schools do this - An "A" should only count as an "A" if it was your first attempt at a course. That doesn't discount the effort however, that is why the grades are averaged. It is the most fair way of handling coursework repeats.
USN has academic forgiveness. The way it works is they will only count your grades within the last five years if you retake all their listed prereqs and you check the academic forgiveness box. I think they average repeats otherwise. This option will only help you if your problems are long ago and you don't mind starting over. They do give credit for any degrees you have earned so it isn't like completely starting over.
Univ. of Arkansas at Little Rock will take the highest grade assuming you retook the class at the same institution you failed in at.
They dont use PharmCAS

"If you request academic forgiveness, the Admissions Office will average the grades of any math and science prerequisite courses repeated within the last five years."
Utah will consider the 2nd grade or average the 2nd+3rd+4th.... Some schools won't consider courses over 5 years old, which worked out well for me 🙂 These include Maryland, Oklahoma, Buffalo, UIC, and Cincinnati is 7 years (as of 2008).
