Hi everyone,
I'd like to ask if Ross or other Caribbean schools have dental programs.
Thanks

Hi,

yes the UWI in Trinidad has a dental school.

It should be known however that UWI is not a place geared to N. American students wishing to return to the US...this is an important distinction for med students, but for dental it may be entirely suitable, I don't know.

Tropicalwind,

There's not such thing as an off-shore dental school, as it is in medicine. So you have to realize that if you go dental school outside of the US/Canada, you'll have to come back and go trough this ordeal as anyone else, no matter where you went to school.

As for Caribbean dental schools.... well, most Caribbean countries have their own dental schools, a good portion of them in Spanish. But I'm sure you can be able to find some in English too, in the English speaking islands. Just do some search.

Puerto Rico has its own dental school and it's ADA aproved. There you go, an ADA school on the Caribbean, isn't it great?

Good luck!

oh, btw, I went to school there, 'cause I'm from there. Caribbean I mean.

Thank you for the information
