Currently a D3 student looking to do some CEs. Do the credits count towards CE requirements as a practicing dentist in the future or do I have to start from scratch after I graduate?

I don't believe they count, you have to start from scratch as a DDS/DMD.
However any courses taken can count towards an FAGD if you are interested in pursuing that following graduation.

If you’re interested in FAGD then up to 50 count.
