Hey guys,
Just a technical question. I know that dental schools hold off on reviewing your application until they receive your "planned" DAT score if you haven't already taken it, but do they also hold off on reviewing your application if you are still taking summer classes currently and until you send in your updated transcript to include those classes?
I listed those courses as "planned/ongoing course" on my application already.

So do they postpone reviewing your app. until you send in your updated transcript for those courses? Or is it like, you should, but it's not strictly enforced?

Did you submit your application already? If you submitted your application then you will not be able to update your transcript/grades through AADSAS. I do not think it matters for the schools to see your summer grades, as it also does not matter if they see your Fall grades (which are also planned/in progress) before you get accepted.

So basically, you do not need to send in a transcript to include your new grades if it interferes with when you will submit your application; they just will not be able to see these grades unless you do the academic update in January.

Yes I have already submitted my application.
But from what I have heard, I thought that if you listed any courses under "planned/ongoing" on your application, you're supposed to send them an updated transcript to include those courses? Otherwise, why would they have that section for you to list what courses you're planning on taking or are still taking?
