Hello everyone ,
I'm an IMG in my final year of med school and aiming for a pediatric residency in the US.
I was able to do 3 rotations in different pediatric subspecialities at two of Canada's top medical centers (McGill and McMaster during my fifth year of med school),now I realize that many of the pediatric residency programs in the US require a minimum of 3 months of US clinical experience,Unfortunately I was able to complete 1 rotation only in the States @ LSU beside the 3 other rotations in Canada. Does it mean I'll be considered as having only one month of USCE.(I noticed that some programs mention the Canadian elective as equivalent to the US ,but the majority dont ,not on their websites at least.
thanks for your input
