Do FAFSA now or later?

Hey guys,

I was doing a supplemental app and it asked if I applied for the FAFSA for the application year, my question is if I should do it now or I can hold off on doing it?

You can hold off if you want. FAFSA opens up the October before the year in which you will matriculate.

OP,

If you wait I'd certainly just make sure that you have all of your supporting docs together (I.E. tax returns, tax transcripts, marriage certificate, ect.) by the time you fill out your FAFSA because FAFSA requirements tend to throw you for a loop.
