Does anyone the grading system (pass/fail or numeric) at NSU COM, PCSOM, Des Moines, Kirkville and LECOM Erie/Seton Hill

Thanks

It is % at KCOM.

Straight up %, weighted by class. Class rank just got posted too 😱.

Does anyone know of any DO schools that actually do grade pass/fail?

OUCOM is pass/fail. I don't know how class ranking works there.

PCSOM uses a letter grading system based on percentages.

Nova is % grading. 70% to pass and you gpa is calculated by weighting the % vs the credit hours.

🙁

I <3 P/F ...

:meanie:

Wouldn't schools have to use the percentages earned in classes to create a class rank anyways? P/F is great and all, but I don't see how they could make a class rank without the percentages.

% grading isn't as bad as you think anyway. Once you get into the swing of things, you will be glad to see the high scores for exams (representative of the work you put in to do well).

Hahaha, yeah I kid, I kid. I really don't know of a single school that is actually pass fail. I have two friends that attend P/F schools, one still has class rank, so everyone competes like mad anyway, and another does class rank by percentage (or something) and certain percent still show up on your transcripts??? So it's definitely not objective.

It's not particularly relevent to the pre-osteo discussion but Mizzou is P/F with no formal (read: released) ranking.
