Started out bad (3.0 after the year), but from summer I had a 4.0, 3.8, 3.75, 3.0 (summer), and 3.43.

Overall ~3.5
BCPM ~3.25
AO~ 3.8

I made 2 Cs overall during my freshmen year and 1C during sophomore, but took it again and made an A.

Do I still have a chance? I have 1 year to pull up my gpa because I will graduate a semester late because I am doing a double major. If I graduate with a 3.6 and 3.4 science, will i get in with a decent mcat? (say 30) or do I need a post-bacc? At this moment, I feel I should just give up cuz my gpa sucks.

Also, I have 100 hours of hospital volunteering and 75 hrs. of shadowing a doctor.

You can compensate for the cGPA with a stronger MCAT score, say, a 32 or so. I'd be more concerned with the BCPM GPA, which really needs to come up.

You've actually done a pretty nice job of recovering from a bad freshman year. Spending the extra time in college will help you mend matters even better.

To improve your chances of an acceptance, you might consider adding some DO schools to your list, as they tend to me more forgiving of past academic difficulty and they only include the most recent grade of a retake (so that D would not be included in the calculation of your application GPA).

Yes. You have a chance.

Focus on the MCAT to raise that chance. 3.5 is below average, but hey my ****ty grades got interviews too.
