i have 3.998 overall, 3.999 science GPA, and 43S. Have great extracurriculars, awesome LOR's...

I'm a bit worried because of the "S" for writing part. do you think it will hurt me? I would appreciate your input.

it's highly unlikely that you will get an interview anywhere, let alone an acceptance. Good luck! 3.999 science, slacker! 4.0 or bust!!

have you thought about becoming a CNA? a certified nurse assistant. i think you can do it online. you dont even need to have gone to college! 🙂 good luck i bet that will be a better fit for you! 👍

the writing portion of the mcat is the single most important part. in YOUR case, I would write the mcat again, and get a T in the writing sample. that S is really going to hurt you. getting a T should better your chances in the med application process!

I was really worried, too, so I talked to my premed advisor. She suggested that I should look into doing postbac work and consider retaking the MCAT. 😱

I don't know if I will for sure. The only other recourse I have is to try and sleep with the adcoms. 😕
