I'm applying to school this fall. My top five choices are 1. SCCP 2. Belmont 3. Mercer 4. ETSU and 5. UNC. I will be graduating in the spring with a B.S. in Marketing and I plan on doing a PharmD./MBA dual degree program. I'll put my credentials below but I was just wondering if there's anybody out there that got into these school that could let me know what my chances might be. Thanks in advance.

PCAT: 54th Percentile
GPA: Overall=3.0/Pre-Pharm=~3.4
Pharmacy Experience: I volunteered all last summer.
Pretty good LORs.

P.S. I also have a sibling that attends SCCP and he seems to think that that will help a lot. He'll be a P3 this year.

Check each school's average PCAT and GPA. You're a reach for UNC (87%/3.5 average). You'll need great EC or a convincing life story to paint to admissions. Others I don't know about. You'll increase your chances if you re-take the PCAT and get 75%+. Check if those schools look at pre-req GPA only or not.

SCCP:
"The SCCP Pharm.D. is a full-time degree program requiring four academic years, which includes introductory practice experiences and advanced practice experiences that must be completed during the summer semesters. Accepted to the program have an average GPA of 3.6-3.7 and an average composite PCAT score of 70th percentile rank. "

As an aside, I wouldn't go for the dual degree program in those schools unless you go to UNC Kenan Flagler. It's just not worth it unless you have a clear need for it. MBA from lower tiers are a dime a dozen.

You PCAT is really low, have you considered retaking it? Otherwise you'll be okay assuming your pharmacy experience is more than observing a pharmacist for 6 hours a month.

That was the second time I took it and I doubled my first score. My only concern with taking it again would be that I would miss the early decision deadlines.

You should be more concerned about improving your application/getting an interview than an early decision offer which you won't get with your stats.
