So, this semester was a really rocky one. I have never in my life failed two classes (Genetics and Calculus). I am very discouraged right now, I going to retake them both. I'm currently a junior and I'm a B average student but with these two classes it really dropped my overall GPA to a 2.88. My question is do I still have a shot at optometry school in the near future?

Depends on your OAT. You need to score really high to salvage your chances at getting in. This is coming from someone that applied with almost a 2.9 GPA but scored a 360 on the OAT.
