Hi I am from Toronto, and I've only applied to Aus, and Ireland dentistry. Both of which I was waitlisted. I am starting to lose all hope and I wanted to ask if I actually do have a shot of getting into schools in the states, Aus, and Ireland.
I did two undergrads, my first one from University of Toronto where I had a cgpa of 2.3. I did another undergrad at Ryerson University and received a 3.74 cgpa 3.8+ if I use just science courses. I don't know how schools take the gpa off of 2 degrees, and I did use some University of Toronto courses for my degree at Ryerson.
My DAT stats were 20 AA, 21 GC, 20 BIO, 19 OC, 19 PAT, 21 RC , 19 QRT
I have 100 + hours of shadowing, and 100 + hours of volunteer research.
I plan on retaking my DAT in a couple of weeks to get everything over 21+
I took another whole undergrad in order to get into a dental school I just hope that it wasn't a waste...
