Hi..
Can anyone advice me.. if I will have chance.

my sGPA = 3.18 (Cs and 1 D in first 2 years, and then all A/A- in 3rd 4th yrs)
nonsGPA = 3.8
overallGPA = 3.45 (Bio major)

Graduate school GPA = 3.7 / 4.3 (non-US, so it wasn't counted)

DAT
TS = 22
AA = 22 (98.9%)

BIo = 20
Chem = 29
OC = 23
math = 19
Reading = 17
PAT = 20

I know my science GPA is pretty low from the standard, and am very scared by the fact that I applied in late Aug.
I applied to 10 schools (all in East coast because I'm from NC)..
Should I add more schools? Do you think I have any chance to get an interview at this point? please help!!

I think you stand a chance. I would be a little concerned about your reading comprehension score though. I think that's suppose to be one of the more important section scores.

Do you think I should re-take DAT just to be safe in Oct?

Hi there,

I feel I'm in a similar situation. My RC is below 20 as well.
However, I don't think we should, or are able to, re-take. They require a minimum of 90 days between your first and second take of the DAT. That means the earliest time you can retake would be sometime in November. I'm sure that's very late for most schools.

Correct me if my information was wrong.

Hi, euphaire!

Yesss I really hope we don't have to take it again, because that means I should be studying agin now.
I took DAT on July.19th.. so I think if I retake it, it will be October.
I asked one dental school admission (actually asked several schools but only got 1 school replying), and they said I don't have to re-take it, but then again, that was just 1 school our of 10 I applied...

have you heard from any schools so far?

I actually wouldn't retake if I were you. You can always risk your AA and TS score going lower. Getting 90% and higher is already EXCELLENT. Most schools have cut offs at 16 or 17. I would just go for it. Don't retake...

No. My AADSAS application hasn't been mailed yet, lol 🙁
I agree with the other people here. Your science marks (bio chem) are very impressive. A slightly lowish RC should be okay. I would recommend you to retake if you did this in May, but now, the delay caused by retake would cost you much more than a 17 in RC.

WOW thank you so much you guys.. SO i won't have to worry about studying again at this point! hehe

you can check out the adea guide to see the officla stats. they have a nice play by play section, i used it througouyl
