Do I HAVE to report my DAT scores to all schools

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
First of all, you probably wont get caught, however if the ADA does find out... kiss your chances of acceptance GOOD BYE...

American schools want American DAT scores, to take both the American and Canadian DATs then only send the higher score is highly unethical. If this practice became widespread it would completely undermine the validity of both tests.

EDIT: let me rephrase. If you are applying to schools in both America and Canada then SHOULD report the American scores to the American schools and Canadian scores to Canadian schools, at minimum. If you are JUST applying to Canadian schools, then I don't see a reason you would have to send them the American scores.

What you can do is hold off on reporting your 1st scores to the schools that require high stats. That way they won't reject you so soon. Then when you have your new scores, send both scores into the school. 🙂

That sounds crazy enough to work! I like the way you think 😉

It's actually done quite often. If someone doesn't feel that their scores are high enough, they'll postpone sending out their DAT scores until better scores can be obtained. 🙂

It's not unethical as long as you end up sending both scores. Reason being is that the schools specifically instruct applicants to send all scores for every test taken.
